Pricing

At Sawtooth Mountain Mobile Vet our goal is increase access to veterinary care both physically and financially. Our pricing is based on a “sliding scale” pay model.

This is sometimes also referred to as “More if you have, less if you don’t” and “pay what you can”. In this model, guardians who are more financially secure pay more for our services and those guardians who are less financially secure pay less. This is a community centered model, wherein we all take care of each other (and our communities pets).

Sawtooth Mountain Mobile Vet pricing includes three different pricing tiers. Guardians self-select which tier they fall into for each invoice/visit. When booking an appointment Guardians will select which pricing tier they fall under. This prompt will be available at each appointment. Guidelines and support will be provided in helping guardians determine which tier they may fall into.

Estimates for care can be provided at any time.

For more guidance on how to select which tier scroll down to the FAQ’s below or view this PDF.

  • Financial access to veterinary care is increasing becoming a stress on pet ownership and financially driven euthanasia is only increasing. We believe that the human-animal bond is sacred and a right not a privilege.

  • Contact us if you believe that you still may not be able to afford care at the lowest tier. We will help your pet get the care that it needs through donations, grants or other means.

  • You choose which pricing tier you and your financial situation fall into at each visit. See FAQ “How do I choose what tier I fall into” for more guidance.
