Our Services
Sawtooth Mountain Mobile Vet (SMMV) provides high quality, in-home care to the dogs and cats of Cook County, MN. Dr. Katie comes to you and services are provided in the comfort of your home to help reduce your pet’s stress in receiving veterinary care and for your convenience!

Dr. Katie provides annual wellness care for dogs and cats including examination, vaccines, yearly blood work, microchipping, monthly prevention, and chronic disease management (allergies, osteoarthritis, etc).

If your pet gets sick, don’t fret. Sawtooth Mountain Mobile Vet offers urgent and sick appointments, sometimes even same day. At a minimum Dr. Katie can triage and provide advice over the phone until she is able to assess your pet.

Sawtooth Mountain Mobile Vet provides calm, compassionate, in-home euthanasia services. The decision to say good-bye is a hard one and SMMV is here to support you through the process - from booking the appointment to choosing after-care options, to delivering cremains.

Northern Minnesota has a strong and vibrant culture around mushing. Establishing care for your kennel does not need to be stressful. Book a kennel visit to establish care. Together with Dr. Katie you will discuss all things kennel-related including deworming schedules, housing, feeding and enrichment considerations. From there, Dr. Katie will be able to provide your dogs care throughout the year at a reduced rate!

Currently Closed for Virtual Clients** This consult is appropriate for guardians who are suspicious their pet may be experiencing pain. This service can be booked as a virtual (for non-Minnesota residents) or an in-home consultation (if local to Cook County, MN). There are two tiers of assessment available to choose from. **Sawtooth Mountain Mobile is unable to provide x-ray, dental, or surgical services at this time, but Dr. Katie can provide you with a referral to a local clinic or emergency clinic if required!
